I use the following azimuthal equidistant projection centered on Toulouse/France (red dot) to determine antenna pointing direction and distance to other stations (range rings in km, north is straight up; map image was clipped for this web-site).

Click here for the site by Paul (AA6Z) whose freeware AZMap program I used to to generate the map. Click here for the site by Joe (NA3T) and Michael (NV3Z) for a similar program.

Countries or areas that I have worked from Toulouse/France are marked with a green dot (larger dot means more stations worked) with 50-70 watts and my slinky® coil or ¼-size Cobra folded dipole antenna; pink dots are for my mini-dipole on 20 mtrs.
