I created this HellCam (a first?) late May 2008, using Hellschreiber software from Nino, IZ8BLY. It is set up so as to auto-save a capture of the entire receiver screen every two minutes. When I am active in Hell mode, these images are automatically uploaded to this page with FTPGetter. Note that I use the screen-captures in their original bitmap format (no choice with the IZ8BLY software), so they are rather large (1.8 MB). Use this page only if you have broadband internet access! If downloading an image takes you longer than the page refresh interval of 100 sec, then this webcam may not work for you... Also, due to relative timing of image capture, file upload, and page refresh intervals, you may occasionally get a page update without image update, etc. My QTH is currently in the South of France (QTH Locator: JN03QO). Antenna is my ¼-size Cobra dipole (2x 5½ meter). Like the original Feldfernschreibers, I prefer to use an AF of 900 Hz. If I am QRV, it is typically in the (local!) evening hours and on the weekend. If my HellCam is "off air", it may be because my SSTV WebCam is "on air". If the status below says "on air (±3582 kHz)" then I am probably listening to this web-sdr in the east of The Netherlands.
